Wanderlust

is my new favorite word

i have obviously heard it before

but today it hit home

i do not want to be stuck in rexburg

i do not want to be stuck in idaho

i do not want to be stuck in america

I WANT TO TRAVEL!!!!!

is that too big of a request?!??

is that too much?

i do not think it is

i think it is exactly what we all need

a little culture

a little break from our reality

so who is with me?

who will come see every nook and cranny of this glorious world with me??

we will take lots of pictures

eat lots of ridiculous food

meet a ton of incredible people

and have experiences that you just can not have in the u. s. of a.

i will follow you into the dark

i have been worried for quite some time now that i do not really have a passion for anything

it is quite a frightening thought

obviously i am passionate for

my family

the gospel

and

my friends

but

i did not really feel like i had something of my own

i was on the phone with my dad earlier today

and he told me that i have a love of learning

i never really thought about it that way

but i really really do

i love being in college and filling my brain with random facts

for an example

we took apart a computer for my CIT fundamentals class on monday

i was like a kid in a candy store

so apparently i am also a huge nerd

and i like it

also as i start this semester and get back into dancing 

i realized just how much i love it and truly missed it

how much i truly have a passion for using my body for such expression 

learning and dancing

two things that i can call my own

passion is such an important thing to have

and i am thankful that i have it

i have passion for so much more than i thought that i ever did

and increasing those passions is a goal that i have for myself

the years go on and we're still fighting it

i love me some idaho

it is so good to be back here!

i love the atmosphere

and i love the people

and i love my new roommates

and i love my classes

and i love where i am living

and i love my new bike

and i love the warm weather we have been having

and i love it all!!!

everyone is so friendly here!

i totally missed that!!

there are smiling faces everywhere and i just love it!

not to mention the potatoes are so cheap

so being back in the burg has also made me realize just how many people are freaking out about getting married and finding their eternal soulmate

that is a huge decision!!!!

one that is not to be rushed into or taken lightly

can we all just calm down a bit

trust in the Lord's timing

and have some fun?

dating is supposed to be enjoyable

not stressful

and being single is fun too!

you get to focus on bettering yourself so when that perfect 

(for you) 

guy/gal comes along

you will be prepared and confident

so take a deep breath,

lights will guide you home

well a lot of changes are occurring

i am freshly single

i am going to spend over a week out in utah 

i can't wait to go catch up with some people that i haven't seen in a while

including my brother

and then out to idaho to start spring semester at BYU-Idaho!

i am pretty excited for the next few weeks

lots of packing

and goodbyes

but a lot of hellos will come soon

so that makes me happy

i have recently changed my major

i decided to not go into psychology because grad school is not for me

so...

i am now a web design major

pros:

it is a growing profession

i could do it from home

it has a wide range of careers 

you can make good money doing it

it feeds into my creative and nerdy juices

cons:

the classes are not gonna be easy

(but i do not really see that as a con, what is life without a few challenges? how on earth would i grow otherwise?)

so i am pretty stoked about this decision

and i do not see that changing in my near future

so the next week+ will be spent seeing family and friends before i embark on this grand adventure

oh and thursday i get to go see hunger games!!

i am sooooo excited!!!
