12 Days and Counting.

And so the packing begins. The first day in a long line of packing days to prepare to leave for BYU-I!!! I am so incredibly excited to be able to get out there and try something new, see something new, and begin college(my life!!). The last two years have been spent getting to know myself; and while I still have a lot to learn, I'm much more confident in who I am and what I hope to accomplish. I will be majoring in Dance!!! I love dance with a burning, fiery passion and it is certainly something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life! I wanted to be a teacher for so long, but I just couldn't see myself sitting in a classroom every day. Now I will be able to teach AND do something that I love. The best of both worlds!! This new adventure is definitely bittersweet. I am going to miss my family so so so so much, not to mention how much I will miss my incredible friends(who are pretty much family anyway). I love my life right now, but I know that going out to school will push that fervor that I have already over the edge! Life as I know it is about to be pushed into overdrive and I'm gripping tight to the steering wheel. I am certainly concerned about going from the incredibly laid back life that I have now(and have had for the past two years since high school) to tests and papers and assignments and budgeting my time and money, but I know that I'm gonna work my tail off and try and make the best grades possible! Paying my own way through school definitely helps motivate me as well... Life. Starts. Now.
