doing what i do best: procrastinating...

How can I be so ready to just write a blog, but I can't simply write a couple paragraphs for class?!??

Oh well :)

So this weekend has been quite a splendid one, and when I say weekend I include yesterday cause today feels much more like a Monday to me! Friday night I got to go swimming for the first time since Spring Break (which was incredible! shout out to kelbs and ry ry!). It was a blast and a half cause I got to meet some new peeps and hang out with Austin from home! The funniest part about this entire evening was that this chick (who is totally into Austin) was giving me the stink eye all night!! In my best ghetto accent, "girrrrl I am NOT tryin to steal yo man!" CALM DOWN!!

Anywho...

Saturday night was spent with a good friend just walking around and drinking jamba juice and freezing our butts off until curfew. The park is apparently quite busy late at night!

SUNDAY...

...was freakin awesome. I rode a tricycle for the first time since adolescence!! So. Much. Fun. Thank you Michael Harrison for teaching me the beauty of a power slide! My life will never be the same! I will get down the 360 someday, that's for sure! I met some new peeps (Clark and Scott) who are pretty much awesome... and initially thought I was a creeper, but eventually found out that its true! :)

Yesterday

was probably the best day in Rexburg. Period.
It started out as an incredibly gorgeous day with sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky and perfect temperatures! Went grocery shopping and hung out with the coolest girls in Idaho and wrote a song about an elephant princess who just happens to be in disguise. We also wrote songs about random strangers. You would think people would get a little creeped out, but I have never gotten so much applause in one day! So then as we were walking down the street it began to pour. The clouds rolled in and broke with tumultuous splendor. So we ran to Scott's nearby apartment and tried to wait out the rain which never ended! So I helped make some tater salad (which was utterly delish thanks to his grandmother) and I went to FHE, and hung out with my favorite Idaho girls again!

I know that most people don't care, but some experiences are just worth writing about! Some things you just don't want to forget. I certainly don't want to forget anything about my experiences here. What a waste that would be.
